Wild Girl Gifts is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every customer deserves a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience regardless of ability, and we are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of our online store.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. What We’re Doing

We are taking the following steps to ensure accessibility across our store:

  • Adding descriptive alternative text to product images and other meaningful visuals so screen reader users can understand our content
  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds throughout our site
  • Making all interactive elements, including navigation, buttons, forms, and the shopping cart, fully operable by keyboard
  • Using clear, descriptive labels on all form fields, including search, newsletter signup, and checkout
  • Maintaining a logical heading structure and proper use of HTML landmarks to support assistive technology
  • Reviewing third-party tools and apps we use for accessibility
  • Conducting regular accessibility evaluations using a combination of automated tools and manual testing

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our site may not yet be fully optimized. In particular:

  • Some product images may be missing alternative text. We are working through our catalog to add descriptions to every image.
  • Certain third-party integrations (such as review widgets or chat tools) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We evaluate these tools regularly and advocate for improvements with their providers.
  • Some PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible. Please contact us if you need content in an alternative format.
